All Saints Fish

Do you love All Saint's so much that you want to spend the entire summer there?  Well, if you are in High School or beyond, there are opportunities for you to do just that this Summer!!!  See below for a brief description of all roles that are available in the summer of 2008.  Also, keep a lookout for staff biographies as the staff is put together throughout the Spring!!!!

Summer Staff/Counselors - The Summer Staff consists of 12 young people, either just graduated from High School or in College, that are the leaders of the summer camp program.  These individuals serve many roles, but are they are the song leaders, game leaders, activity directors (i.e. Outdoor Education, Waterfront/Lifeguard, Sports, Arts & Crafts, and Drama), as well as serve as the adult mentors and role models for the youth and children who attend summer camp at All Saint's.  These individuals develop the relationships and convey the love of All Saint's to all who attend.  The summer staff commitment is from June 8-July 18, 2008.  Salary packages are very competitive, but will depend upon experience and expertise.

Positions Available:  Program Assistant, Male & Female Head Counselor, Senior Counselor (Outrigger Staff), Waterfront Director, Outdoor Education Director, Arts & Crafts Director, Drama Director. Please Note:  Most Senior Counselors will be asked to perform other duties, such as Outdoor Education, Arts & Crafts,or Drama.  These roles will be dual-responsibility roles within the summer staff hierarchy.

Job descriptions for each position will be available in late January, but you can go ahead and download the Summer Staff Application by clicking here.

Counselor-In-Training Counselors-In-Training, or CITs, are the high school youth (9th grade and up) who come to All Saint's to volunteer a week of their time to the summer program.  CITs work with the Summer Staff and Volunteer Staff to implement program, supervise and lead activities, and learn what it means to be a counselor at All Saint's.  This opportunity is wonderful for those who love All Saint's and want to give back some of the awesome experiences they have had as campers.  It is also a great chance for youth to work under the summer staff and learn the philosophy and practices of the summer program in preparation for their turn as counselors in the future.

Jr. Counselor - The Jr. Counselor positions at All Saint's provide an opportunity for older high school students (11th & 12th graders) to experience all the facets of camp life, as well as be compensated for their time and energy.  Jr. Counselors work in all areas of camp life, including as assistant activity directors, working with the program assistant, assisting the facilities staff in the kitchen and on the grounds, and as leaders in small groups, for music, chapel services, and Christian Formation.  When possible, the Jr. Counselors live in the outriggers with the campers and counselors, but typically are housed separately and are under the tutelage of the Head Counselors.  Jr. Counselors are paid a weekly stipend, and will depend on experience and expertise.

Jr. Counselor positions include:  Waterfront, Sports, Arts & Crafts, Drama, Music, and Miscellaneous Facility Work.  No experience in any is necessary except for waterfront and appropriate licensing (Are you tired of working at the local pool?  Come work at All Saint's!!!)

Job descriptions for these positions will be available in late January but you can go ahead and download the CIT/Jr. Counselor Application by clicking here.
